CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania, Aug. 24, 2019 – Laura Zeng of Libertyville, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Camilla Feeley of Deerfield, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, both have qualified for event finals and the USA will be represented in two event finals at the Cluj Napoca (Romania) World Challenge Cup tomorrow. Held at the BT Arena, the event finals begin at 1 p.m. local time, and U.S. fans can watch the event finals live at 6 a.m. ET on OlympicChannel.com or delayed at 10 p.m. ET on the Olympic Channel, which also has a simulcast online.

Both Zeng and Feeley will compete in the ball final, and Zeng also qualified for the ribbon final.

In the ribbon qualifying round, Zeng posted an 18.700 for eighth place, and Feeley was 11th at 17.650. Russia’s Daria Trubnikova posted the top score at 20.100. For clubs, Zeng was 11th (20.150) and Feeley 16th (18.800). Israel’s Linoy Ashram earned the event’s best qualification score of 23.600.

In the all-around, both Americans finished in the top 15. Zeng landed in 10th with a 78.000 and Feeley was 15th at 75.750. Ashram won the all-around title with an 88.850, just ahead of Russia’s Ekaterina Selezneva’s 88.400. Israel’s Nicol Zelikman was third at 85.100.

The USA is not competing in the group competition, which also will have event finals on the 25th.
