Following the recent World Championships Selection Camp at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Lake Placid, N.Y., USA Gymnastics announced the gymnasts, including replacement athletes, who will represent the U.S. at the 2019 World Championships and World Age Group Competitions.
Fresh off a World Championships where she won five gold medals and became the most decorated gymnast in World history, Simone Biles has been named a finalist for the USOPC's 2019 Team USA Awards presented by Dow, Best of the Year. Fans can vote online through Oct. 28.
The greatest: With 25 World medals, 19 of them gold, Simone Biles now stands alone as the all-time medal leader at the World Championships.
Simone Biles closed out her incredible World Gymnastics Championships atop the floor podium with a gold medal and a new exploit: a total of 25 world medals, breaking a record she herself set earlier in the day.
