On Friday, the 2019 World Cup, the first International Gymnastics Federation World Cup for acrobatic gymnastics held in the United States since 2009, gets underway at 6:45 p.m. PT at the Rio Hotel, Casino and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Jade Carey of Phoenix, Ariz./Arizona Sunrays, and Stephen Nedoroscik of Worcester, Mass./Pennsylvania State University, advanced to the women’s vault and men’s pommel horse finals, respectively, at the individual event World Cup in Doha, Qatar.
For the second straight weekend, U.S. gymnasts will be competing against the world’s best in four different events: men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and acrobatic gymnastics.
The Athlete Assistance Fund (The AAF) today announced a partnership with The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (The NYSPCC) in which The NYSPCC will perform a full program needs assessment and provide sexual abuse prevention training workshops.
