Mission, Vision & Strategy

USA Gymnastics has updated its strategic plan to set a course for the organization from 2025 through the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, broadening the focus on the holistic Gymnastics community. As we look toward the LA 2028 Olympic Games, USA Gymnastics envisions a future where the sport continues its legacy of excellence, expands its appeal, and nurtures the growth of our community. USA Gymnastics will target growth in the areas of competitive success at all levels, participation in the sport, the creation of new events, and overall revenue generation.

Grow the sport by expanding participation and engagement year-long: Broaden the sport’s appeal by creating a welcoming and inclusive environment that reflects the diversity of the sport and increases participation at all levels.

Expand opportunities for the whole community to thrive together: Reinvest in the community — clubs, coaches, athletes, judges, volunteers and staff — to provide the tools, education, and support to thrive in sport and in life.

Advance Operational and Commercial Excellence: Build financial growth with diversified revenue streams, operational efficiency and sound governance.
