Gainesville, Fla. – The No. 3 Gator gymnastics team (1-0, 0-0 SEC) opened the 2013 season Friday with a win over Ball State (0-1, 0-0 MAC) in front of a Stephen C. O’Connell Center crowd of 3,768.

ATHENS, Ga. – No. 11 Georgia led after the first three rotations, but fourth-ranked Oklahoma rallied to beat the Gym Dogs, 196.450-195.425 Saturday afternoon in Stegeman Coliseum.

San Jose, Calif. – Pre-season #6-Stanford posted a 195.425 total to finish ahead of San Jose State’s 192.875. UC Davis was third at 191.400 and Sacramento State was fourth at 191.100.

BATON ROUGE – LSU gymnastics head coach D-D Breaux clinched her 600th career victory as the eighth-ranked Tigers set a school record team score in a season opener with a 196.075-194.975 win against No. 22 North Carolina State Friday night in the Maravich Center.

CANCUN, Mexico — The No. 10-ranked University of Michigan women’s gymnastics team opened the 2013 season scoring 196.575 to win the Cancun Classic over BYU (194.475) and No. 9 Oregon State (193.600) on Friday (Jan. 4) at the Iberostar Beach and Golf Resort.

California 195.425, Kentucky 195.125, #19 Arizona 194.825, #13 Auburn 194.625 – Jan. 6, 2013
BERKELEY – The California women’s gymnastics team got off to a great start to the 2013 season, posting a 195.425 to beat Arizona, Auburn, and Kentucky in a quad meet.

#14 Ohio State 194.600, Bowling Green 192.200 – Jan. 5, 2013
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team posted its highest season-opening score since 2004 Saturday, hitting a 192.2 to fall to Ohio State (194.6) in Anderson Arena.

DENVER – The No. 20 University of Denver gymnastics squad inked a 194.700 to top No. 16 Penn State and Lindenwood on Saturday evening at Hamilton Gymnasium.
