BIRMINGHAM, England, Nov. 20, 2011 – In the last day of competition, Austin White of Irvine, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, earned the silver medal in the men’s double-mini trampoline final at the 2011 World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships in Birmingham, England.

Posting a final score of 72.800, White placed second for the U.S. behind Brazil’s Bruno Martini with a 73.300, with Evgeny Chernoivanov of Russia finishing third with a 71.800.

Kalon Ludvigson of Pocatello, Idaho/Team Revolution, competed in the men’s tumbling final, placing fifth with a score of 73.200.

For the U.S. women, Kristie Lowell of Orland Park, Ill./5 Star Tumbling and Trampoline, finished seventh in her first World Championships with a score of 54.600 in the women’s double-mini trampoline final.

Savannah Vinsant of Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express, who secured a spot for the U.S. Olympic Team earlier this week, placed seventh in women’s individual trampoline, scoring a 53.085.
