EAU CLAIRE, Wis., March 28, 2011 – The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse won its fourth consecutive National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Championships team title during the weekend at the McPhee Physical Education Center on the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire campus. La Crosse’s Christa Booman took home the all-around title. The NCGA governs women’s collegiate gymnastics for Division III. UW-La Crosse won its team title with a score of 191.175. UW-Whitewater finished second with 187.550. Ithaca (N.Y.) College placed third at 185.375. The competition featured seven schools, and the other four and their team scores are: State University of New York-Cortland (185.250), the College at Brockport (185.250), University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (184.725), and University of Wisconsin-Stout (Menomonie) (182.475).

UW-La Crosse’s Christa Booman won the all-around title with a 38.650, posting the top score on uneven bars (9.700). Lissette LaFex of Hamline University (St. Paul, Minn.), and Jessica Bolduc of Ithaca College tied for second at 38.175. Morgan Shene of UW-La Crosse finished fourth at 38.150. Sarah Nadrowski of SUNY-Cortland rounded out the top five with a score of 38.050.

Naomi DeLara of UW-Stout won two event titles, vault (9.675) and balance beam (9.825). LaFex won the uneven bars title (9.700). Bolduc won the floor exercise crown (9.750).
