ANAHEIM, Aug. 20, 2017 – The six-man U.S. Men’s Team for the 2017 World Championships, Oct. 2-8, in Montreal, Canada, includes 2017 U.S. all-around champion Yul Moldauer of Arvada, Colo./University of Oklahoma; 2016 Olympians Sam Mikulak of Newport Coast, Calif./U.S. Olympic Training Center, and Alex Naddour of Queen Creek, Ariz./USA Youth Fitness Center; and 2016 Olympic replacement athlete Donnell Whittenburg of Baltimore, Md./U.S. Olympic Training Center. The 2017 World Championships are the first of the new Olympic cycle and is an individual-event championships. USA Gymnastics also has announced the complete U.S. Senior National Team, which will be in place through the 2018 Winter Cup Challenge.

The U.S. Men’s Team was finalized by the Men’s Program Committee based on performances at the 2017 P&G Championships. The six men and three replacement athletes were determined by the 2017 World Championships Team Selection Committee following the conclusion of the 2017 P&G Gymnastics Championships. The events and line-up for Worlds will be announced at a later date.
