Twenty-eight gymnasts from 14 countries from the Pan American Gymnastics Union (PAGU) participated in the 2010 Women’s Junior PAGU Training Camp, held at the USA Gymnastics Women’s National Team Training Center, located at the Karolyi Gymnastics Camp in New Waverly, Texas, Nov. 9-14.

The countries whose athletes and coaches attended are Argentina, Barbados, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, Venezuela and the United States.

The four-day training camp, sponsored by PAGU, the International Gymnastics Federation and USA Gymnastics, included daily morning and afternoon training sessions that focused on basics, physical preparation, optional skills and combinations. Members of USA Gymnastics’ national coaching staff also provided training for all four events and dance classes. Included on the staff were Steve Rybacki, Antonia Markova, Luminita Garcy, Enrique Trabanino and Debbie Kaitschuck. Sean Golden, a past member of the U.S. Men’s National Team, also provided coaching lectures during the camp.
