BRESCIA, Italy, April 28, 2018 – U.S. trampoline gymnasts won nine medals (five gold, two silver and two bronze) over the weekend at the Aere Cup in Brescia, Italy.

The USA’s champions in Brescia were: Alyssa Oh of Rocklin, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, 17-21 girls trampoline, 52.230; Tristan Ackerson of Florence, Ky./MJM Studios and Ruben Padilla of Oakley, Calif./Tornado Sport Club, 17-21 boys synchronized trampoline, 48.515; Lauryn Screen of Belford, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy and Kayttie Nakamura of Honolulu, Hawaii/Hawaii Trampoline and Tumbling, 15-16 girls synchronized trampoline, 44.905; Olivia Simpson and Alyssa Oh of Rocklin, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, 17-21 girls synchronized trampoline, 46.370; Nakamura, 15-16 girls trampoline, 53.435.

Simpson was the silver medalist in 17-21 girls trampoline (50.380), while Padilla placed second in the boys 17-21 event. Lauryn Screen of Belford, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy, claimed the bronze medal in the 15-16 girls trampoline final (50.850), and Tristan Ackerson of Florence, Ky./MJM Studios finished third in the boys 17-21 final at 54.435.
