INDIANAPOLIS, November 5, 2021 – Trampolinists Zachary Ramacci of St. John, Ind./TwistStars Tumbling and Trampoline and Elijah Vogel of Longmont, Colo./Elevated Trampoline Sports Academy have been selected to represent the U.S. at the inaugural Junior Pan American Games later this month in Cali, Colombia.

Ramacci followed up a second-place finish in the men’s trampoline 17-21 division at the 2021 Pan American Championships in June with a fourth-place showing in senior men’s trampoline at the 2021 USA Gymnastics Championships. He finished just behind teammate Vogel – the reigning U.S. bronze medalist – at the latter competition. Both gymnasts eclipsed the 160.000 mark during the event final.

David Ford of Elevated Trampoline Sports Academy will serve as head coach for the U.S. trampoline delegation. Ruben Padilla of Bluffdale, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling was named the nontraveling replacement athlete.

The 2021 Junior Pan American Championships will run November 25-December 5. The winning men’s and women’s individual trampolinists will earn automatic berths, by name, to the 2023 Senior Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.

Participating trampoline gymnasts must be between the ages of 17 and 21 by December 31, 2021 to compete. The U.S. did not qualify a women’s team for the event.
