2008 Olympic Beam Gold Medalist Shawn Johnson, skateboarders and BMX riders from around the world travelled to Beijing, China, site of the 2008 Olympic Games, this past weekend to celebrate the grand opening of Woodward Beijing. The opening included a party featuring skateboarding and BMX demos, the Alli Best Trick, fireworks and more. Johnson received a private tour of the National Indoor Stadium–accompanied by 100 action sports skaters, executives and a throng of Chinese media–where she won the beam gold medal during the Olympics.
