1996 Olympic team gold-medalist Shannon Miller, the USA’s most decorated gymnast with 16 Olympic and World medals to her credit, traveled to Hartford, Conn., to promote the 2010 Visa Championships, scheduled for Aug. 10-14 in Hartford. Miller signed autographs and posed for photos at USA Gymnastics’ booth at the 2010 Travelers Championships, a PGA Tour stop in Hartford.
In addition to helping visitors with the Tyson Fitness Challenge, Miller also played in the tournament’s pro-am and spoke on Women’s Day to a women’s luncheon. 2008 Olympic team silver-medalist Alicia Sacramone, who is also an honorary co-chair for the 2010 Visa Championships, is expected to visit with fans at the Travelers Championship over the weekend.
