KOPER, Slovenia (June 20, 2022) - Stanford teammates Riley Loos (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) and Taylor Burkhart (Morrison, Colo.) each captured two medals at the Koper World Challenge Cup over the weekend. Loos earned silver on floor exercise and still rings, while Burkhart added bronze on floor exercise and vault - the same two apparatus he medaled on at the Varna World Challenge Cup in May.

Loos (14.100) and Burkhart (13.950) were outscored on floor only by Great Britain's Harry Hepworth (14.200). Ukraine's Igor Radivilov notched the high score on still rings with a 14.050, while Loos secured the runner-up spot with a 13.700. Burkhart (13.400) finished just off the rings podium in fourth. After qualifying in the seventh spot, his 14.450 in the vault final landed him third behind Radivilov (14.800) and Hepworth (14.525).

Burkhart also qualified to the horizontal bar final where he finished eighth with a 12.100. Australia's Tyson Bull nabbed the title with a 14.400. Curran Phillips (Naperville, Ill./Stanford) was seventh in the parallel bars final with a 12.950 after topping the scoresheet with a 14.750 during qualifications. Ukraine's Petro Pakhniuk delivered a 14.400 in the finals to claim the gold medal.

Loos was 10th on pommel horse (12.800) and 16th on parallel bars (12.350), respectively, while Burkhart finished 16th on horse. Croatia's Mateo Zugec snared pommel horse gold with a 14.050.
