NORMAN – Katherine LeVasseur and Allie Stern went back-to-back with perfect 10s on vault to lead the No. 3 Oklahoma Sooners to a season opening victory over No. 6 Alabama Sunday afternoon inside the Lloyd Noble Center.

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – No. 4 Utah gymnastics cruised to a season-opening win Friday night at the Maverik Center, posting a 197.100 at the Rio Tinto Best of Utah to down No. 19 BYU, No. 25 SUU and Utah State.

#5 LSU 196.950, Centenary 186.550 – Jan. 7, 2022
BATON ROUGE – The fifth-ranked LSU gymnastics team opened its 2022 season with a team score of 196.950 and win over Centenary on Friday night in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

#10 Denver 197.000, San Jose State 195.950 – Jan. 9, 2022
DENVER – The No. 10-ranked University of Denver women’s gymnastics team began its 2022 campaign in record-setting fashion, scoring a 197.000 to top San Jose State (195.950) in the teams’ season opener on Sunday.

#11 Arkansas 195.450, Ohio State 195.025 – Jan. 7, 2022
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In their return to Barnhill Arena on Friday, the No. 11 Gymbacks earned their first season-opening win since 2014 with a victory over the No. 22 Ohio State.

#14 Auburn 196.250, North Carolina 195.700, Bowling Green 192.600 – Jan. 7, 2022
CHAPEL HILL – The Carolina gymnastics team opened 2022 with its highest season-opening score in program history, scoring a 195.70 in front of a program-record 4,125 fans in Carmichael Arena.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The No. 16 University of Missouri Gymnastics team opened the 2022 season with a 196.600- 193.775/191.600 win against Ball State and Illinois State Friday night in the Hearnes Center.

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The 18th-ranked University of Iowa women’s gymnastics team opened its season with a 195.950-194.100 victory over Eastern Michigan on Saturday night inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

AMES, Iowa – The No. 20 Iowa State gymnastics team (0-1, 0-0 Big 12) began its season Friday night at Hilton Coliseum, falling to Nebraska (1-0, 0-0 Big Ten), 194.350-194.425.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The fifth-ranked Penn State men’s gymnastics team opened the 2022 season with a 369.050-358.200 win over No. 11 Army on Friday night at Rec Hall.

Michigan 385.950, Northern Illinois 252.100 – Jan. 8, 2022
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The No. 2-ranked University of Michigan men’s gymnastics team opened the 2022 regular season with a resounding 385.95-252.100 victory over Northern Illinois on Saturday (Jan. 8) at Cliff Keen Arena.
