May 2, 2014 – John Orozco of The Bronx, N.Y./Team Hilton HHonors (U.S. Olympic Training Center) and Elizabeth Price of Coopersburg, Pa./Parkette’s Gymnastics have been nominated for the U.S. Olympic Committee’s April Male and Female Athletes of the Month, respectively. Orozco won the men’s senior all-around title at the 2014 Pacific Rim Championships, held April 9-14 in Richmond, British Columbia. Orozco also earned gold medals in the parallel bars and high bar events, and finished second in the floor exercise to help lead Team USA to the team gold medal.

Price led the U.S. to the team title at the 2014 Pacific Rim Championships, held April 9-13 in Richmond, British Columbia, with winning performances in the all-around, uneven bars and floor exercise events. Price also became the first American woman to win the FIG All-around World Cup Series title on April 5 with 145 total points.
