SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (June 30, 2022) – Nearly 450 athletes spanning 17 clubs and nine states gathered at the Bank of Springfield Center in Springfield, Ill., June 23-25 for the 2022 Gymnastics for All National Championships and GymFest. Gymnastics for All, also known as group gymnastics, includes competitive disciplines, such as Power TeamGym and Acrobatics and Tumbling, and non-competitive opportunities in addition to Hope Unites Gymnastics with Special Athletes (HUGS) divisions for gymnasts with special needs.

In total, four clubs participated in the GymFest and six took part in the Gym for Life Challenge, where Showcase was named best in show. The event also featured special guests from the GF Kennedy club in Sweden.

Eleven teams were active across Acrobatics and Tumbling Development Program Levels 1-4, while another 31 teams competed in Power TeamGym, which comprised Levels 1-8 and 10, as well as International Novice and Open divisions.
