BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIPS
Wolverines Secure Big Ten Team Championship, Juda Takes All-Around Glory

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Led by Big Ten all-around champion Paul Juda, the No. 2-ranked University of Michigan men’s gymnastics secured the 19th Big Ten Championship in program history as the Wolverines scored a season-high 413.350 team score on Friday (April 1) at Penn State’s Rec Hall.

WACO, Texas – No. 1 Baylor acrobatics & tumbling extended its winning streak to 12 with a 24.38-point win over No. 7 Hawaii Pacific on Saturday night in the Ferrell Center, 279.775 – 255.395.

#3 Gannon 272.940, Kutztown 157.650 – April 2, 2022
KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Despite being unable to enter the team event, the Kutztown University acrobatics & tumbling team produced 12 season-best heat scores and only trailed third-ranked and likely NCATA Championships qualifier Gannon by nine points at halftime in a 272.940-157.650 loss Saturday afternoon at Keystone Arena.

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac Acrobatics & Tumbling defeated the Oregon Ducks on Sunday, April 3 at home, recording the program’s first victory against Oregon since March 11, 2018.

#6 Limestone 273.430, Lander 239/400 – April 1, 2022
GAFFNEY, S.C. – The No.6 ranked Limestone University acrobatics and tumbling team wrapped up its first perfect regular season in program history after taking down Lander by the final of 273.430-256.760 on Friday evening inside the Timken Center.

#7 Hawaii Pacific 259.155, East Texas Baptist 237.660 – March 29, 2022
MARSHALL, Texas – Taking on their fourth nationally ranked team this season, the East Texas Baptist University acrobatics and tumbling team produced their most points of the season against #8 Hawai’i Pacific University.

#8 Fairmont State 266.205, Glenville State 239.050 – April 1, 2022
GLENVILLE – Glenville’s Acrobatics and Tumbling team closed their 2022 regular season on Friday night, hosting league power Fairmont in the finale. For the bulk of the night, the Pioneers battled the league juggernaut close, but the Falcons pulled away in the second half for a 266.205-239.050 victory.

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker University acrobatics and tumbling team made more history on Sunday (Apr 3) afternoon as they came up just short against No. 9 nationally ranked and defending Conference Carolinas champion King University on Senior Day by a score of 257.225-256.430.

BELMONT, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey acrobatics and tumbling team closed out the regular season by hosting Converse in a Conference Carolinas meet Saturday at the Wheeler Center.

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA – The Emmanuel College Acrobatics and Tumbling team hosted Mars Hill on Tuesday night. The Emmanuel Lions defeated the Mars Hill Lions, 245.835-239.265. This marks the first win of the young program.

ADRIAN, Mich. — The Trine University acrobatics and tumbling team posted a program record score in the team event and hung close with their hosts from Adrian College but fell by the score of 233.545 to 227.120.

Emmanuel 244.285, Chowan 115.425 – April 2, 2022
FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA – The Emmanuel acrobatics and tumbling team celebrated senior day on Saturday as they hosted Chowan University. The Lions defeated the Hawks, 244.285-115.425.

Frostburg State 258.820, West Liberty 247.915 – April 2, 2022
WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The Frostburg State acrobatics and tumbling team posted narrow wins in all six events here Saturday but they added up to a clutch win for the Bobcats as they crashed West Liberty’s Senior Day party with a 258.820-247.915 victory before a large crowd inside the ASRC.
