St. Louis – Kristal Uzelac, 14, (Whitehall, Pa.) of Parkettes claimed her second junior national all-around title today, scoring 76.174.

 

“It feels really great to win again,” said Uzelac. “I feel so excited inside. I am relieved that I am finished. I felt really calm and relaxed during the meet and just focused on myself.”

Earning the silver medal was Terin Humphrey (Saint Joseph, Mo.) from Great American Gymnastics Express with a score of 73.937.

Tabitha Yim
(Irvine, Calif.) from Gliders claimed the bronze medal with a score of 72.612. She scored a 9.475 on floor to stay in third, moving up from fifth place after the preliminary round of competition.
The top 20 juniors were named to the 2000 Junior National Team and will represent the U.S. in national and international competitions in 2000-2001. The team is as follows:
