INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Polina Kozitskiy of Fountainville, Pa., and Jazzy Kerber of Highland Park, Ill., finished in the top 10 of the junior all-around at the 2010 Pearls of St. Petersburg World Cup Junior Tournament in Russia on April 3. Kozitskiy took seventh in the all-around and qualified for hoop, ball, and club individual event finals. Kerber took ninth and qualified for individual event finals in hoop and rope.

Kozitskiy, who trains at Philadelphia Rhythmic Academy, scored a 96.675 in the junior all-around to finish in seventh place. She qualified for three individual event finals, finishing sixth on hoop, ball, and rope.

Earning a 94.525, Kerber, who trains at North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, finished ninth in the junior all-around. She qualified for the hoop and ball individual event finals, finishing eighth.

Alexandrea Merkulova of Russia won the junior all-around title and all four individual event titles. Russia’s Evgenia Kanaeva won the senior all-around crown.

Shelby Kisiel of Houston/North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, and Joanna Arnold of Northville, Mich./ North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, competed in the 2010 Pearls of St. Petersburg World Cup, finishing 20 and 24 in the senior all-around, respectively.
