The inaugural Kids Celebrate Life Classic was held Saturday, January 7-8, in Northboro, Mass., at Algonquin Regional High School. The event was a collaborative effort between the USA Gymnastics Region 6 community, the Massachusetts community and the Algonquin Regional High School Booster Club. All of the proceeds from the event, which totaled approximately $30,000, will be directed to the Children’s Miracle Network and American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Research.
Three USA Gymnastics World Champions, Alicia Sacramone, Aly Raisman and Sabrina Vega were on hand to assist in raising donations for the Children’s Miracle Network.
Sacramone and Raisman train at Brestyan’s American Gymnastics in Burlington, Mass., while Vega trains at Dynamic Gymnastics in Mohegan Lake, N.Y.
