LISBON, Portugal, April 5, 2014 –World all-around finalist Jazzy Kerber of Highland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, has advanced to the event finals for hoop and clubs at the Lisbon (Portugal) World Cup, which is part of the International Gymnastics Federation’s World Cup series. This is the first time Kerber has qualified for two World Cup event finals. The competition wraps up on Sunday with the event finals, and the individual event finals at the Lisbon International Tournament are also on Sunday.

In the Lisbon International Tournament, Laura Zeng of Libertyville, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, qualified for the ball, hoop and ribbon finals, and Camilla Feeley of Lincolnshire, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, will perform in the clubs final. Earlier at the event, the duo of Zeng and Feeley won the team bronze medal.

In the all- around, Kerber, placed 12th with a 64.650. In clubs, she scored a 16.600 to place eighth and advance to the finals, as well as a 15.400 in ribbon. On the first day, she earned a16.950 for hoop and a 15.700 for ball.

Serena Lu of Staten Island, N.Y./Isadora, who is in her first year competing as a senior, also competed today in the World Cup. In the all-around, she posted a four event score of 61.700 for 21st place. Her event scores include a 15.100 for clubs and a 15.450 for ribbon from today’s competition and a 15.650 for hoop and a 15.500 for ball.

Sunday’s schedule is 11:15 a.m. for the Lisbon International Tournament event finals and 4:45 p.m. for the World Cup event finals. For more information, visit the official event website.
