TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 15, 2022 – In her FIG World Cup debut, Alexandria Kautzman (Simi Valley, Calif./California Rhythms) sits seventh in the all-around competition after two events at the Gymnastics Sports Palace in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Kautzman delivered a 26.050 on hoop and 28.300 on ball on Day 1 for a combined 54.350, qualifying to the ball final in the sixth position in the process. She’ll be back in action Saturday at 5:30 a.m. ET, as the all-around competition concludes with clubs and ribbon.

Uzbekistan’s Takhmina Ikromova swept the day’s top spots in the all-around behind a 60.800 and on both apparatus, posting scores of 30.450 on hoop and 30.350 on ball. Kautzman’s hoop score placed her 11th, just outside of a reserve spot for the event final.

She is set to lead off the ball final Sunday at 3:35 a.m. ET.
