LJUBLJANA, Slovenia — Nicole Kaloyanov of Woodbridge, Va./Gymnastics World, won three medals, including the ribbon gold, at the recently held MTM Ljubljana (Slovenia) competition.
Kaloyanov, who competed in all four event finals, won the ribbon gold by outscoring Italy’s Alexandra Agiurgiuculese, 14.700 to 14.600. The bronze medal went to Slovenia’s Aleksandra Podgorsek with 14.100.
Her silver medal came when she tied with Slovenia’s Aja Jerman with 14.250 points for the ball. Agiurgiuculese won the title at 14.450.
In the hoop finals, Kaloyanov claimed the bronze medal when she posted a 14.450. Jerman was the gold medalist at 14.600, followed by Agiurgiulese at 14.550.
Kaloyanov also competed in the clubs final, where she finished tied for fifth with Slovenia’s Taja Karner at 13.750. Podgorsek was first at 14.100, with Agiurgiuculese second at 14.050 and France’s Camille Ay in third (13.950).
