COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Heilie Isaacs (Mt. Prospect, Ill.) garnered a pair of medals for the United States in individual event finals as rhythmic gymnastics competition concluded Junior Pacific Alliance Championships, held at the U.S. Air Force Academy’s Cadet Field House here Saturday.

Australian Tanya Vahala dominated the competition, winning three of four available gold medals. She took first in the rope, ball and hoop, while Canada’s Gaylee Saliba won the ribbon.
Isaacs earned her silver in rope, posting an 8.650 to Vahala’s 8.950. American Danielle Lord (Tualatin, Ore.) claimed the bronze with an 8.588. Isaacs’ bronze medal came in the ball, where she scored an 8.750, well off the 9.000 by Vahala.
