SOFIA, Bulgaria, May 4, 2017 – 2016 Olympic team alternate Camilla Feeley of Highland Park, Ill., and Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill., both of North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, will participate in this weekend’s Sofia World Cup. The event is part of the International Gymnastics Federation’s rhythmic gymnastics World Cup series. Fans in the United States can watch live coverage of the finals on Sunday, May 7 at 8 a.m. ET on the USA Gymnastics YouTube channel.

Competition begins on Friday, May 5, with the first two apparatus for all-around placement and event final qualification. The all-around competition wraps up on Saturday with apparatus finals scheduled for Sunday.

Russia’s Aleksandra Soldatova leads an impressive field of international competitors. Soldatova won three medals – team, gold; clubs and hoop, silver – at the 2015 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Stuttgart, Germany. She is joined by teammate Dina Averina, who took top honors in the all-around at last weekend’s World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan. Griskenas and Feeley also participated last weekend in Baku, highlighted by a sixth place all-around finish for Griskenas and event finals qualification for both Americans.
