ST. PETERSBURG, Russia, June 5, 2015 – 2012 Olympian Steven Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy, finished ninth in men’s trampoline today trampoline and tumbling’s St. Petersburg (Russia) World Cup at Zimny Stadion.

Team USA’s competition continues tomorrow with men’s and women’s synchronized trampoline. Fans can follow the action live, beginning tomorrow morning at 3 a.m. ET, here.
 
Gluckstein earned a 104.090 total after posting a 48.065 for his compulsory exercise and a 56.025 in the optionals. Jeffrey Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy, Alexi Shostak of Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express, Hunter Brewster of Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express, also competed in the men’s competition.
 
For the women, Nicole Ahsinger of San Diego, Calif./So Cal TTC, finished 19th with a 94.560. Teammate Clare Johnson of Huntsville, Ala./Matrix Gym, was right behind in 20th, posting a 94.325 combined score.
 
The schedule for Saturday, June 6 is:
  • 3 a.m. ET – Qualifications (Men’s and Women’s Synchronized Trampoline)
  • 9 a.m. ET – Finals (Men’s and Women’s Synchronized Trampoline)
