TARTU, Estonia, Feb. 13, 2016 – Nastasya Generalova of Los Angeles/California Rhythms, won the all-around silver medal at the Miss Valentine Cup this weekend in Tartu, Estonia. Ukraine’s Ganna Rizatdinova won the all-around title with Estonia’s Carmel Kallemaa taking third.

Generalova posted scores of 16.550, hoop, 16.550, ball, 16.300, clubs, and 17.500, ribbon, giving her a 67.000 total and the silver medal in the all-around. Rizatdinova, who finished fifth at last year’s World Championships, posted a 71.900. Kallemaa was third with 66.350. The USA’s Aliya Protto of Culver City, Calif./California Rhythms, finished sixth with a 65.750 total in the all-around. Generalova advanced to all four apparatus finals, while Protto will compete in hoop, ball, and ribbon.

In the junior competition, Karrine Denisova of Wilmette, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, took home the silver medal in the all-around in the 2002 age division with a score of 56.750. She advanced to event finals in hoop and ball. Kristina Sobolevskaya of Culver City, Calif./California Rhythms, was sixth in the 2001 age group. Sobolevskaya will compete in tomorrow’s ball final.
