COTTBUS, Germany, March 23, 2013 –The USA’s Jake Dalton of Reno, Nev./University of Oklahoma, Glen Ishino of Santa Ana, Calif./University of California – Berkeley, and Brandon Wynn of Columbus, Ohio/Ohio State University, competed on the floor exercise, pommel horse and still rings, respectively, earlier today on the first of two days of individual event finals at the 2013 Cottbus World Cup in Cottbus, Germany.  The trio will compete tomorrow in the remaining finals:  Dalton, vault; Ishino, horizontal bar; and Wynn, parallel bars.
 
Dalton scored a 14.975 on the floor exercise to finish just out of the medals in fourth.  Germany’s Matthias Fahrig won the gold medal at 15.275.
 
On the pommel horse, Ishino posted a 14.125 and finished sixth in the final.  Belgium’s Donna Truyens took the title at 15.325.
 
Wynn competed on the still rings, finishing eighth with a 14.525.  Greece’s Eleftherios Petrounias was the top finisher at 15.825.
