INDIANAPOLIS, April 29, 2022 – USA Gymnastics Friday named Alayna "Lanie" Davis High Performance Coordinator for its acrobatic gymnastics program. A former elite-level athlete who competed internationally in the women’s trio category, Davis has spent nearly 10 years as the head coach of California-based ATA Gymnastics. Davis served as a member of USA Gymnastics’ Acrobatic Gymnastics National Elite Committee and Athlete Selection Committee from 2014-22. She is passionate about growing acrobatic gymnastics in the U.S. and ensuring that athletes who are active in the sport feel supported and empowered.

"We are very excited to welcome Lanie to the role of High Performance Coordinator," said Kyla Knights, Director of USA Gymnastics’ Acrobatics Program. "Her experience and expertise will play an intricate role in the future growth and success of the Acrobatic Gymnastics Program here at USA Gymnastics."

Davis will assume the position May 1.
