COTTBUS, Germany, March 21, 2013 – Jake Dalton of Reno, Nev./University of Oklahoma, Glen Ishino of Santa Ana, Calif./University of California – Berkeley, and Brandon Wynn of Columbus, Ohio/Ohio State University, advanced to the finals at the 2013 Cottbus World Cup, an International Gymnastics Federation individual event World Cup Series.
 
Qualification competition continues tomorrow with competition in the vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar. Dalton will compete on the vault; Chris Brooks of Houston/Cypress Gymnastics, on the parallel bars and horizontal bar; Ishino on high bar; and Wynn on parallel bars. The finals will run Saturday and Sunday, March 23-24.
 
Dalton posted the top score on the floor exercise, a 15.300, to advance. 
 
On the pommel horse, Ishino scored 14.475 for seventh and a place in Saturday’s finals.   Brooks also competed on pommel horse but did not advance to the final.
 
Wynn, the 2011 U.S. still rings champion, qualified fifth to the rings final with a 15.600, while Dalton just missed the final, finishing ninth (14.950).
