Vladimir Vladev was awarded the distinguished service award for his outstanding service to the gymnastics development and gymnastics programs in Texas by the Gymnastics Association of Texas.
Vladev has been coaching acrobatic gymnastics for more than 12 years in San Antonio, Texas, and coaches at Acrobatic Gymnastics of San Antonio. He has coached national, international and world finalists and medalists.
From Bulgaria, Vladev competed in acrobatic gymnastics and received numerous awards along the way including European Champion in 1993 and World Vice Champion in 1994.
