MUNCIE, Ind. – In front of an Irving Gym record crowd of 1,564, Ball State’s women’s gymnastics team suffered a 196.925 to 193.700 loss to two-time defending national champion Florida.

NORMAN, Okla. – Veteran performances and exciting debuts from several freshmen sent the Sooners surging past No. 13 Arkansas to the tune of a 197.625-194.900 final.

BATON ROUGE – In front of a season-opening record home crowd of 5,655 fans, the third-ranked LSU gymnastics team cruised to a 197.125-193.300 victory over Iowa Friday night in the Maravich Center.

#4 Alabama 196.225, Arizona 194.375 – Jan. 9, 2015
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Dana Duckworth, who was elevated to the program’s top spot after Sarah and David Patterson retired from coaching in July after 36 years at the Tide’s helm, earned her first head coaching victory when No. 4 Alabama beat visiting Pac 12 rival No. 21 Arizona 196.225-194.375.

PROVO, Utah – BYU gymnastics earned a 193.350 score in its second-place finish to No. 6 Utah in the Marriott Center on Friday night.

#8 Michigan 196.600, #7 Georgia 195.600 – Jan. 10, 2015
ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 7 Georgia Gymdogs fell to No. 8 Michigan in their first meet of the season, 196.600-195.600, on Saturday afternoon in front of a sellout crowd of 10,224 at Stegeman Coliseum.

#9 Nebraska 195.300, Lindenwood 190.550 – Jan. 9, 2015
LINCOLN, Neb. – The No. 9 Nebraska women’s gymnastics team swept all four events and the all-around to a 195.30 – 190.55 win over Lindenwood on Friday evening. The win marks Head Coach Dan Kendig’s 600th career win.

#10 Stanford 196.275, San Jose State 193.175 – Jan. 9, 2015
SAN JOSE, Calif.–San Jose State women’s gymnast Cami Guyer won the all-around and finished third on the vault and floor to lead the Spartan women’s gymnastics team against Stanford Friday night at The Event Center.

#12 Auburn 194.150, North Carolina 193.750 – Jan. 9, 2015
CHAPEL HILL, N.C – In the first competition of the season, the University of North Carolina gymnastics team fell to 12th ranked Auburn University 194.150 to 193.750.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento State gymnastics team scored a season-high but it was not enough as No. 14 Cal swept all four individual event titles and the all-around in a 194.875-194.250 victory over the Hornets on Friday night at The Nest.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (AP) – The sparkle and flair returned to the historic Recreation Building on Saturday (Jan. 10) afternoon as the No. 16 Penn State women’s gymnastics program opened its season with a quad-meet victory over Cornell, New Hampshire and Rutgers.

MINNEAPOLIS – No. 17-ranked Minnesota opened its 2015 campaign with a victory over No. 25 Iowa State on Saturday evening at the Sports Pavilion with a final team score of 194.950.

PITTSBURGH – Pitt gymnastics fell to Ohio State on Friday night, 194.675-190.825, at the Fitzgerald Field House in both teams’ season-opener.

RALEIGH, N.C.- Highlighted by first-place performances from junior All-American Brittni Watkins and senior Lane Jarred, the NC State gymnastics team opened its season as it hosted No. 20 Denver Friday evening inside Reynolds Coliseum.

BERKELEY, Calif. – The No. 8 California Golden Bears dropped their 2015 opener 429.050-425.000 to the No. 4 Stanford Cardinal on Saturday night at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley.

#5 Illinois 429.100, #16 UIC 390.150 – Jan. 9, 2015
CHICAGO – The UIC men’s gymnastics team held its first meet of the season Friday night at the UIC Pavilion against Illinois. The Flames finished the night with 390.150, falling short to Illinois’ total score of 429.100.

#6 Penn State 426.700, #12 Army 403.000 – Jan. 11, 2015
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The No. 6 Penn State men’s gymnastics team opened their 2015 season with a 426.700-403.000 win over No. 12 Army inside Rec Hall Saturday.
