MINNEAPOLIS – Minnesota women’s gymnastics fell for the second time this weekend when No. 1 Oklahoma visited the Sports Pavilion on Saturday evening. The Gophers, who are now 1-2 overall and 0-1 in league competition, were defeated by the defending national champions, 196.500-194.475.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Competing for the second time in five days to open the season, the Kentucky gymnastics team recorded a season-high score by over 0.600 points with a 195.600 Friday on Excite Night in Memorial Coliseum.

#3 Florida 197.200, Auburn 195.650 – Jan. 16, 2015
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida gymnastics team opened its home season with another mark of perfection, as freshman Alex McMurtry scored a 10.0 Friday in front of a Stephen C. O’Connell Center crowd of 6,754. The Gators opened Southeastern Conference action with a win, turning in a 197.20 while Auburn posted a 195.65.

#4 Utah 196.675, Southern Utah 195.500, Boise State 194.525, UC Davis 193.950 – Jan. 16, 2015
SALT LAKE CITY – Georgia Dabritz won two events and the all-around to lead Utah to a 196.675 score and a victory over Southern Utah (195.500), Boise State (194.525) and UC Davis (193.950) before a Huntsman Center crowd of 14,254.

#5 Michigan 196.975, #15t Ohio State 195.025, West Virginia 194.175 – Jan. 17, 2015
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 15 Ohio State women’s gymnastics tallied a 195.025 in a tri-meet with No. 5 Michigan and West Virginia Saturday afternoon at St. John Arena.

#12 Arkansas 196.325, #6 Alabama 196.175 – Jan. 16, 2015
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – An historic floor exercise rotation lifted the No. 12 University of Arkansas gymnastics team to a 196.325-196.175 come-from-behind victory over defending Southeastern Conference champion, and sixth-ranked, Alabama, Friday night at Barnhill Arena.

#7 Georgia 195.800, Missouri 195.225 – Jan. 16, 2015
ATHENS, Ga. — Sparked by a 9.95 on vault from Brandie Jay, the No. 7 Georgia Gymdogs defeated Missouri 195.800-195.225 on Friday night in their Southeastern Conference opener in Stegeman Coliseum.

#8 Nebraska 197.125, #15t Penn State 196.025 – Jan. 17, 2015
LINCOLN, Neb. – Powered by a program-record 49.75 on vault and Nebraska’s first perfect 10.00 on vault since 2011, the No. 8 women’s gymnastics team exploded for a 197.125 to defeat Penn State.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 9 Fighting Illini women’s gymnastics team shined in their 2015 Huff Hall debut defeating Rutgers 196.175-192.775 Saturday afternoon.

SAN JOSE, Calif.–Freshman Kaitlin Won won her first all-around title of her Spartan career Friday night, and Amy Bellingham won her first beam title to help the San José State women’s gymnastics team score a 194.750 Friday night.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 14-ranked Bowling Green State University gymnastics team improved to 3-1 for the first time since 2008 by defeating Alaska Anchorage and Wisconsin-Whitewater at the Ozone Collegiate Classic in Knoxville, Tennessee Saturday (Jan. 17) night.

TUCSON, Ariz. – No. 18 Arizona defeated three teams before a crowd of 1,902 at McKale for the season’s home opener on Friday.

GW Wins Third Straight Lindsey Ferris Invitational – Jan. 18, 2015
WASHINGTON – Freshman Jillian Winstanley won the all-around title as the No. 19 George Washington gymnastics team scored 195.025, with an outright or share of all five event titles, to win its third consecutive Lindsey Ferris Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Charles E. Smith Center.

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – Highlighted by a record six top-three finishes, the 11th-ranked Air Force men’s gymnastics team opened the 2015 season with a second-place finish at the annual Rocky Mountain Open on Saturday (Jan. 17) at the Academy’s newly-renovated Cadet West Gym.

#4 Stanford 435.500, #8 California 427.900 – Jan. 17, 2015
STANFORD, Calif. – No. 4 Stanford defeated No. 8 California for the second time in as many weeks, earning a 435.500-427.900 victory Saturday night in Burnham Pavilion.

Windy City Invitational – Jan. 17, 2015
CHICAGO – The UIC men’s gymnastics team concluded action at the 45th Annual Windy City Invitational Saturday at the UIC Pavilion. UIC finished the night with 388.400 points and Illinois placed first with a score of 428.100.

State Open – Jan. 18, 2015
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Jan. 18, 2015)—The William and Mary men’s gymnastics team opened its 2015 season with a good showing at the State Open at Kaplan Arena on Sunday afternoon, as three Tribe gymnasts combined to claim four individual event titles while another posted the top all-around score.
