DENTON, Texas – Six Texas Woman’s University gymnasts set a total of nine new personal bests as the Pioneers were edged 197.900-195.225 by the No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners on Sunday inside Kitty Magee Arena.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In the only meet of the weekend with a pair of top-four opponents, it was the No. 2 Gator gymnasts taking the win.

#3 Utah 197.550, #12 California 197.325 – Feb. 8, 2020
BERKELEY – California women’s gymnastics scored season-high team totals overall and on vault and beam, but the effort wasn’t enough to push the No. 12 Golden Bears past No. 3 Utah, 197.550-197.325.

#5 UCLA 197.675, #20 Arizona 195.375 – Feb. 9, 2020
LOS ANGELES – No. 5 UCLA hit 24-for-24 routines and scored a season-high team total in a 197.675-195.375 victory over No. 20 Arizona in the Bruins’ Pride Meet.

#6 Minnesota 196.825, Iowa 196.175 – Feb. 8, 2020
MINNEAPOLIS – The No. 6 University of Minnesota took down Iowa with a score of 196.825 to 196.175. The Gophers earned their fourth-straight meet win to improve to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the Big Ten. Iowa drops to 4-5 overall and 1-3 in the Big Ten.

#7 Alabama 197.550, Missouri 196.850 – Feb. 7, 2020
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 7-ranked Alabama gymnastics team posted a season high to down No. 21 Missouri, 197.550-196.850, Friday night in Coleman Coliseum in front of a pink-clad crowd of 11,360 fans.

#8 Michigan 197.350, Ohio State 195.900 – Feb. 9, 2020
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — It was a blockbuster "Day at the Movies" for the No. 8-ranked University of Michigan women’s gymnastics team as it received two thumbs up in a 197.350-195.900 win over Ohio State in front of 7,105 fans on Sunday evening (Feb. 9) at Crisler Center.

#9 LSU 196.800, Oregon State 196.700, Arizona State 195.600 – Feb. 8, 2020
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The No. 22 Oregon State gymnastics team made a late rally before finishing to No. 9 LSU in a tri-meet at Gill Coliseum, Saturday morning.

#15 Arkansas 196.950, #10 Georgia 196.750 – Feb. 7, 2020
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No.15 Arkansas Razorbacks defeated the No.10 Georgia Bulldogs in Barnhill Arena on Friday evening, with a season-high 196.950 – 196.750 win.

#13 Kentucky 197.275, #17 Auburn 196.250 – Feb. 7, 2020
AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 17 Auburn gymnastics team returned to Auburn Arena Friday night and scored a 196.250 in loss to No. 13 Kentucky. The Wildcats scored a 197.275.

#14 Nebraska 196.175, #19 Maryland 193.575 – Feb. 8, 2020
LINCOLN, Neb — The No. 14 Nebraska women’s gymnastics team (4-2, 3-1 Big Ten) defeated the No. 19 Maryland Terrapins (5-2, 2-2 Big Ten) at the Bob Devaney Sports Center by a score of 196.175-193.575.

#16 BYU 196.625, Sacramento State 193.000 – Feb. 7, 2020
PROVO, Utah — No. 16 BYU recorded its third consecutive score over 196.000 (196.625) to defeat Sacramento State (193.000) on Friday night at the Smith Fieldhouse.

NORMAN – The No. 1 Oklahoma (8-1) men’s gymnastics squad topped the No. 9 Iowa Hawkeyes (2-5), 411.600-403.250, in its 2020 home opener at McCasland Field House on Saturday night.

#2 Stanford 420.400, #5 Ohio State 408.150, #11 California 396.400, #12 Arizona State 388.950 – Feb. 8, 2020
TEMPE, Ariz. – Competing at the Southwest Cup hosted by Arizona State, No. 2 Stanford posted a new national-best score of 420.400 to top No. 5 Ohio State, No. 11 California and a split squad from Arizona State.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The University of Michigan men’s gymnastics team marked a team score of 413.400 en route to a pair of wins over No. 19 Illinois-Chicago (2-8) and Northern Illinois (0-7) on Saturday (Feb. 8) at Cliff Keen Arena.

#6 Navy 407.700, #14 Army 394.100, #16 Air Force 387.500 – Feb. 8, 2020
SAN ANTONIO – The Navy gymnastics team continued its dominant run of early season execution as the No. 6 Mids rolled to a 13.6-point victory over the field of service academy rivals, No. 14 Army and No. 16 Air Force at the 2020 All-Academy Championship on Saturday at the Mission Concepcion Sports Complex.

#7 Illinois 409.700, #15 Springfield 374.650 – Feb. 9, 2020
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Illini men’s gymnastics team swept all seven event titles to lead the Orange and Blue to a season-high 409.700 dual meet victory over Springfield College (374.650) on Sunday afternoon at Huff Hall.

#10 Minnesota 287.625, #17 Washington 281.475 – Feb. 7, 2020
MINNEAPOLIS – The No. 10 University of Minnesota men’s gymnastics team hosted its "Flashback Friday" meet and came away with the win over the No. 17 Washington Huskies, 287.625-281.475.


ACROBATICS AND TUMBLING

#1 Baylor 277.205, #10 Limestone 263.000 – Feb. 9, 2020
GAFFNEY, S.C. – Welcoming nationally top-ranked Baylor University to the Timken Center for a clash of two top-10 programs, the No. 10 Limestone College acrobatics and tumbling team won three heats over the five-time defending national champions on Sunday afternoon, becoming the first team to score higher than the Bears in any heat this season.

#2 Oregon 280.680, #6 Hawaii Pacific 266.720 – Feb. 8, 2020
EUGENE, Ore. – The No. 2 Oregon Ducks opened their season with a 280.68-266.72 win over the No. 6 Hawai’i Pacific Sharks on Saturday night at Matthew Knight Arena.

#4 Azusa Pacific 276.285, Arizona Christian 228.600 – Feb. 8, 2020
GLENDALE, Ariz. – Azusa Pacific’s Acrobatics and Tumbling team kicked off its tenth season in fine fashion, generating seven scores of 9.9 or better and winning 19 out of 20 heats in a 276.285-228.600 road win at Arizona Christian.

ERIE, Pa. – Gannon won 19 of 19 heats to roll to a season-opening win over Adrian Sunday afternoon at the Hammermill Center.

Due West, S.C. – History was made inside Belk Arena this afternoon when the Flying Fleet Acrobatics and Tumbling team hosted Converse in the first meet in program history.

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University Acrobatics and Tumbling squad got its season off to a flying start here Thursday with a record-setting 254.57-247.37 victory against West Virginia Wesleyan in Mountain East Conference action at the ASRC.

Urbana 244.305, Davis & Elkins 237.045 – Feb. 8, 2020
ELKINS, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins started the meet with a win in the compulsory event, but was narrowly edged in the rest of the meet by Urbana in the team’s season opener on Saturday afternoon in front of an excited McDonnell Center crowd.

Concordia Wisconsin 138.700, Georgetown College 133.000 – Feb. 9, 2020
MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW acrobatics and tumbling team put on a show for the home crowd in the home opener against Georgetown College on Sunday morning with the Falcons topping the Tigers, 138.7 to 133 to move to 1-1 on the year.
