BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (July 11, 2022) – Reagan Anderson Chan turned in her second consecutive fifth-place finish at The World Games on Monday, taking fifth in freestyle parkour at the Sloss Furnaces venue.

In freestyle parkour, athletes make use of the obstacles to show off their style and creativity as their technical performance is judged.

Chan (Lehi, Utah/YGT Freerunning) posted a score of 16.0, with 6.5 in difficulty and 9.5 in execution. The finish matched her fifth-place showing in Sunday’s speed parkour competition.

Noa Man of the Netherlands was the class of the field, easily taking gold with her score of 24.0, to add to her silver medal from Sunday’s speed parkour. Speed champion Miranda Tibbling of Sweden took silver in freestyle with a score of 21.0, while Hikari Izumi of Japan won her second bronze of the Games with a score of 19.0.

Gymnastics competition at The World Games continues Monday with rhythmic gymnastics, with Evita Griskenas (Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center) and Lili Mizuno (Northbrook, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center) contesting hoop and ball.
