INDIANAPOLIS, May 1, 2014 – U.S. mixed pairs champions Kiley Boynton and Ryan Ward, both of Riverside, Calif./Realis Gymnastics Academy, finished fifth in the mixed pairs competition at the recent 2014 Limes Cup in Aalen, Germany. The Limes Cup is an International Gymnastics Federation World Cup event for acrobatic gymnastics
A mishap in the event final dropped the duo to fifth and a score of 27.055. Great Britain’s Alice Upcott and Dominic Smith won the title with 30.685. Russia’s Angelina Devyatova and Dzhamal Aliev edged past Belarus’ Viktar Lebedzeu and Iryna Kuksa for second, 27.585 to 27.5430.
