INDIANAPOLIS, July 22, 2011 – The most recent episode of “USA Gymnastics: Behind the Team presented by AT&T” takes at look at the U.S. women’s team as they train at the National Team Training Center. The latest installment of “Behind the Team” is available now at att.net/teamusa.
The USA Women’s National Team comes together several times a year at the Olympic Training Center in Huntsville, Texas. The purpose of the camps is to train together, help one another and build team spirit. Members of the National Team are also selected to travel and represent the USA at national and international competitions. A junior and senior team traveled to Italy earlier this year to compete in an international competition. All the gymnasts agree that traveling and being part of a large group is a lot of fun and the best part of the trip. The gymnasts are training and preparing for the CoverGirl Classic in Chicago and the Visa Championships in Saint Paul, Minn., this summer.
