INDIANAPOLIS, October 3, 2011 – The latest episode of “USA Gymnastics: Behind the Team presented by AT&T” gives fans an inside look at the 2011 Visa Championships. The latest installment of “Behind the Team” is available now at att.net/teamusa.
The 2011 Visa Championships was held in Saint Paul, Minn., and Danell Leyva and Jordyn Wieber won their first senior national all-around titles at this event.
Both Leyva and Wieber tell “Behind the Team” what winning the national championships means to them.
Leyva battled to the end with Jonathan Horton to take the title, finishing on his favorite event, the high bar. Wieber, with a large lead on her nearest competitor, just had to hit a solid beam routine to claim the title.
