INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 9, 2024) – Many of the biggest stars of USA Gymnastics will kick off the 2024 Olympic year at the 2024 Winter Cup entry, with entry lists announced Friday by USA Gymnastics.
Making headlines are the heralded returns to elite competition of three-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas, 2022 World high bar champion Brody Malone and three-time NCAA champion Trinity Thomas.
Also turning heads are the 2024 elite debuts of 2023 World Championships medalists Fred Richard, Paul Juda, Yul Moldauer and Skye Blakely. Olympians Jordan Chiles and Shane Wiskus add their star power, along with 2021 World Championships gold medalist Stephen Nedoroscik and 2023 Pan American Games medalists Kaliya Lincoln, Zoe Miller, Donnell Whittenburg, Curran Phillips and Cameron Bock. Moldauer returns to Louisville to defend his 2023 Winter Cup all-around title.
In total, 44 junior and senior women and 48 senior men are currently entered for Winter Cup, to be held Feb. 23-25 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville. Additional entries may be added prior to the start of competition as qualifying for the women continues. Winter Cup is held in conjunction with the Nastia Liukin Cup and Elite Team Cup.
