INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (February 28, 2024) – USA Gymnastics on Wednesday announced experienced sports administrator Amanda Casale as its USAG Trampoline & Tumbling program director, beginning in April. In the role, Casale will oversee all aspects of the USA Gymnastics T&T Program.

Casale most recently served as the director of program administration for men’s basketball at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her duties included managing the team’s travel, budget and overall operations, handling newsletters and other communications, and organizing team outings. She played a key role in coordinating events within and outside of the basketball community and helped cultivate the team’s relationship with its sponsors and alumni. She previously had administrative and managerial roles with the Philadelphia 76ers and Syracuse men’s basketball team.

“We are excited to welcome Amanda to the trampoline & tumbling program,” USA Gymnastics Chief Programs Officer Stefanie Korepin said. “Her extensive experience working with all facets of sport management, from working with coaches and athletes to managing travel and events, makes her well qualified for this wide-ranging role.”

As the T&T program director, Casale’s duties will include managing the administration and operations of the trampoline & tumbling program, managing staff related to the program and National Team, ensuring implementation of selection procedures for major international competitions, and overseeing all grassroots activities within the program, including the T&T Development Program.

“I’m so excited to bring experience from the basketball space into the gymnastics world,” said Casale. “It is both a thrill and an honor to work with the trampoline & tumbling community on all levels, and to build upon the phenomenally strong base that is already in place. I am excited and eager to get started.”

A New Jersey native, Casale earned an MBA from Saint Joseph’s and received her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University, where her studies include a bachelor’s in Selected Studies in Education and Policy Studies, and minors in Coaching and Psychology. She is also the owner and founder of Pose With a Rose, a yoga business focused on helping athletes and sports teams.
