LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (February 24, 2024) – Two-time World medalist and 2023 Pan American all-around champion Kayla DiCello (Boyds, Md./Hill’s Gymnastics) got her 2024 season off to a winning start, taking the Winter Cup women’s all-around title Saturday afternoon in Louisville.

DiCello posted a 56.850 to place first ahead of Skye Blakely (Frisco, Texas/WOGA Gymnastics) in second with 54.650 and Hezly Rivera (Plano, Texas/WOGA Gymnastics) in third with 54.000.

DiCello was consistent on all apparatus, also winning uneven bars (14.300) and floor exercise (14.050) gold medals. She added scores of 14.200 on vault – the highest score of the day – and 14.300 on beam. Two-time World champion Blakely shared balance beam gold with Rivera, with each scoring a 14.500 on the event. Because no athlete performed two vaults, there was no Winter Cup vault champion. Blakely matched DiCello’s 14.200 on vault as the top scorers.

The Elite Team Cup kicks off gymnastics competition Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. ET, with junior men will vie for team titles. Sunday will see Nastia Liukin Cup competition at noon ET, followed by senior and junior men’s action at 5:30 p.m. ET.

The USA Gymnastics YouTube channel will stream the event and myusagym.com is available for live scoring.
