STUTTGART, Germany, Nov. 30, 2013 – Elizabeth Price of Coopersburg, Pa./Parkettes, won her second straight title in Stuttgart, Germany, at the 2013 DTB World Cup, which is part of the International Gymnastics Federation’s all-around World Cup series. Tomorrow, 2012 Olympian John Orozco of the Bronx, N.Y./Team Hilton HHonors (U.S. Olympic Training Center), will compete in the men’s competition.

Price won the women’s all-around with a 58.032 total. Romania’s Larisa Iordache was second at 57.998, with Italy’s Vanessa Ferrari in third at 56.866. Price’s individual event scores were: vault, 15.700, the event’s highest at the competition; uneven bars, 14.466; balance beam, 13.500; and floor exercise, 14.366. Price and Orozco will compete next weekend at the World Cup in Glasgow, Scotland.

Later today, the Mexican Open in Acapulco, Mexico, wraps up with the balance of the all-around competition. Going into the final events, Peyton Ernst of Coppell, Texas/Texas Dreams, and Maggie Nichols of Little Canada, Minn./Twin City Twisters, have the top two spots in the women’s all-around, and Josh Dixon of Mountain View, Calif./U.S. Olympic Training Center, is third in the men’s all-around.
