CALI, Colombia (April 27, 2024) – Jayla Hang (Bellevue, Wash./Pacific Reign Gymnastics) and Madray Johnson (Dallas, Texas/WOGA Gymnastics) locked down the all-around podium Saturday evening at the 2024 Pacific Rim Championships, winning all-around gold and silver, respectively.

With both women finishing well ahead of the rest of the field, Hang took gold (54.800) and Johnson silver (52.950) in all-around competition during the women’s artistic session. Hang posted solid scores across vault (14.150), uneven bars (14.250), balance beam (13.850) and floor exercise (12.550) to come out on top. Canada’s Kahlyn Lawson won bronze with a 49.850. Americans Simone Rose (Sammamish, Wash./Pacific Reign Gymnastics) and Kieryn Finnell (Pittsford, N.Y./RGA) had the third (52.350) and fourth (51.050) highest score of the night, with Rose not being awarded bronze due to the two-per-country rule.

Hang’s 14.250 on bars earned her the No.1 qualifying spot to the apparatus final, and she also was second qualifier to the beam (13.850) and floor (12.550) finals. Finnell was best on beam (14.050) to claim the top qualifying ranking on the apparatus while Rose qualified second on bars (13.700) and third on floor (12.500). Team results will be announced during Sunday’s awards.

All individual event finals will begin at 4:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 28. Final rounds will stream live on Colombian Federation’s Facebook and results will be available here.
