STUTTGART, Germany, Sept. 5, 2007— The U.S. men will compete tomorrow, Sept. 6, at 8 a.m. ET in the men’s team finals of the 2007 World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany. Joining the United States in the finals are China, Germany, Japan, Korea, Romania, Russia, and Spain.

 

The members of the U.S. Team are: Guillermo Alvarez of Denver; Alexander Artemev of Morrison, Colo.; David Durante of Garwood, N.J.; Sean Golden, Camden of N.J.; Jonathan Horton of Houston; and Kevin Tan of Fremont, Calif.  Sho Nakamori of Albany, Calif., is the team alternate.

 

The United States finished fourth in the qualification round behind defending team gold-medalist China, 2004 Olympic team champion Japan and host Germany. By finishing in the top 12 at the 2007 World Championships, the U.S. men also earned a berth in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
