INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 14, 2024) – The U.S. rhythmic program on Thursday announced the athletes chosen to represent the country at international competitions throughout the year. Selections were based on performances at the 2024 Rhythmic Challenge and Invitational in February.

March-April competitions

Reigning Rhythmic Challenge all-around champion Rin Keys will compete at the 2024 Faliro World Cup March 22-24 in Palaio Faliro-Athens, Greece. At the Tashkent World Cup April 26-28 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Keys will be joined by 2023 U.S. all-around silver medalist Alexandria Kautzman. Kautzman also will be in action at the 2024 European Cup May 3-5 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

After winning her first senior international medal in Tartu, Estonia, this year, Megan Chu will compete at the 2024 Thiais Grand Prix March 30-31 in Thiais, France.


Pacific Rim Championships

Six athletes, three juniors and three seniors, will compete in rhythmic competition at this year’s Pacific Rim Championships April 21-23 in Cali, Colombia. In the first edition of the event since 2018, seniors Chu, 2024 Rhythmic Challenge clubs silver medalist Jaelyn Chin and 2023 U.S. hoop silver medalist Yana Golovan will represent the U.S. The junior Pac Rim lineup includes 2024 Rhythmic Challenge junior all-around champion Isabella Chong, 2024 Rhythmic Invitational Level 10 junior all-around champion Dawn Kim and 2024 Rhythmic Challenge junior ribbon champion Natalia de la Rosa.


May competitions

Following a three medal-winning performance in Poland last year as a junior, Keys will lead the five-athlete U.S. delegation at the 2024 Gdynia Rhythmic Stars May 3-5 in Gdynia, Poland. 2023 U.S. all-around and clubs bronze medalist Sarah Mariotti will join her in senior competition, while Chong, Kim and De La Rosa will represent the juniors.

Seniors Chin and Golovan and juniors Anastasia Dubinkina, Aleksia Khilkevich and 2024 Rhythmic Invitational Level 10 junior all-around bronze medalist Aurora Sullivan will compete in the Portimão International Tournament May 4-6 in Portugal.

Olympians Evita Griskenas and Lili Mizuno will perform at the 2024 Portimão World Challenge Cup May 10-12 in Portimão as their first international assignments of the season.
