Lili Mizuno (Northbrook, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics) and Alexandria Kautzman (Simi Valley, Calif./California Rhythms) finished top 15 and 25 all-around, respectively, while the Senior National Group notched a top-10 finish at the Cluj-Napoca World Challenge Cup in Romania over the weekend.

In individual competition, Mizuno and Kautzman were 13th and 23rd in the all-around with scores of 119.200 and 113.800, respectively. Italy’s Sofia Raffaeli was first (133.550), Bulgaria’s Boryana Kaleyn second (130.850) and Germany’s Darja Varfolomeev third (127.600). Mizuno also qualified to the hoop and ball finals on Sunday where she landed fifth in the ball final with a 30.350 and eighth in hoop with a 29.850.

The Senior National Group of Izzy Connor (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.), Gergana Petkova (Barrington, Ill.), Katrine Sakhnov (Glencoe, Ill.), Karolina Saverino (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) and Hana Starkman (Deerfield, Ill.) ranked 10th in all-around competition with a 57.250. In the qualifying rounds, the group scored a 30.000 in five hoops and a 27.250 in three ribbons and two balls.
