The U.S. will be represented by 30 junior and senior acrobatic athletes as the 2023 competitive season closes out at the 2023 Pan American Championships December 8-10 in Ibague, Colombia.

Two-time U.S. women’s pair all-around champions Mo Arthur and Ariana Katsov headline the seniors set for Pan Ams competition in Colombia. They will be joined in the senior division by two-time women’s group all-around champions Mariam Tutberidze, Kayla Vonder Haar and Grace Vonder Haar.

After claiming international and domestic all-around gold, 2023 U.S 13-19 men’s pair champions Ethan Chang and David Vonder Haar will represent the U.S. in junior competition. On the women’s side are 2023 U.S. 13-19 women’s pair champions Sydney Padios and Willow Noble. Competing in the 12-18 division are 2023 U.S. and MIAC junior women’s pair all-around gold medalists Maya Lissenkova and Bernice Moshos; 2023 U.S. junior women’s group dynamic champions Maddy Hunt, Avery Puleo and Anna Sullivan; 2023 U.S. junior women’s group all-around bronze medalists Lilian Prumanov, Polina Bakman and Kate Gorman; 2023 U.S. junior mixed pair all-around champions Rylee Cummins and George Yeramishyn; and 2023 U.S. junior mixed pair dynamic champions Layla Lugo and Tyler Berg.

In 11-16 age group competition, the U.S. will send women’s pair Leana Borodayev and Isabella Brookins, mixed pair Faith Nicol and Peter Vonder Haar, and the women’s group of Alani Do, Jordana Beyer and Silver Weddle as traveling replacement athletes.

Competition in Ibague will run from December 8-10 and feature balance, dynamic, combined/all-around and team action. No more than two pairs/groups per country may advance to any final competition, and team rankings are determined by a country’s top three combined scores. Official scores are expected to be posted on the PAGU website following competition.
