CHENGDU, China – Fred Richard (Stoughton, Mass./University of Michigan) and Taylor Christopulos (Layton, Utah/University of Nebraska) closed out artistic gymnastics competition at the 2023 World University Games in Chengdu, China, Saturday morning.
Richard and Christopulos landed seventh (12.900) and eighth (12.366), respectively, in the horizontal bar final on the last day of competition. Milad Karimi of Kazakhstan (14.800), Cong Shi of China (14.600) and Kaito Sugimoto of Japan (14.233) claimed the top three spots on the apparatus.
