INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 8, 2023) – Locations for USA Gymnastics’ Men’s and Women’s Development Program National Championships and Eastern and Western Championships have been announced for 2024.

The Development Program Championships will be hosted in Daytona Beach, Fla., and the Women’s Eastern and Western Championships in Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Coralville, Iowa, respectively. The Men’s Eastern Championships are set for Cleveland, Ohio, and the Westerns for Chandler, Ariz.

Development Program National Championships

More than 1,600 athletes are expected for the 2024 Men’s and Women’s Development Program National Championships May 9-12 at the Volusia County Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla. National Teams and champions are determined at the championships, the culmination of the Development Program season.

The event will see competition from junior and senior Level 10 women’s artistic gymnasts and Level 8 & 9 Junior Elite and Level 10 Junior National and Junior Elite men’s artistic gymnasts. The Women’s 2024 Development Program National Team and the Men’s Level 8/9 Junior National Team will also be named following competition. Club and regional titles will be awarded on the men’s side, while women’s competition will see a Regional Team (Super Team) Champion crowned.

Results from regional championships determine which athletes qualify to the Development Program Championships. All sessions of the competition will stream live on FlipNow.tv. Event information will be available at devnationals.com closer to the event date.

Women’s Eastern and Western Championships

The 2024 Women’s Level 9 Eastern and Western Championships are headed to Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Coralville, Iowa, respectively, May 2-5, 2024. The Eastern Championships will be hosted at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center in Myrtle Beach, while the Western Championships are set for Xtream Arena in Coralville.

The championships serve as the final competition for Level 9 women’s artistic athletes and will feature the top talent from across the country. Gymnasts in the Eastern Championships will represent Regions 5-8, while athletes in the Western Championships will represent Regions 1-4.   • Region 6 – Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont
  • Region 7 – Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia
  • Region 8 – Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee

Western Championships

  • Region 1 – Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah
  • Region 2 – Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington
  • Region 3 – Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Wyoming
  • Region 4 – Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin

Men’s Eastern and Western Championships

Cleveland, Ohio and Chandler, Ariz. will be the hosts for the 2024 Men’s Artistic Development Program Eastern and Western Championships April 26-28. Competition in Ohio will be held in the Cleveland Public Auditorium while the action in Arizona will be in the Rawhide Event Center. The 2024 GymACT Eastern and Western Conference Championships also will run in conjunction with each event.

The championships will highlight the top Level 7 and Level 8 and 9 Junior National athletes in the U.S. Regional breakdowns are listed below.

Eastern Championships
