COTTBUS, Germany, Nov. 24, 2017 – 2017 U.S. all-around silver medalist Allan Bower of Norman, Okla./University of Oklahoma, will compete in the floor exercise and pommel horse finals on Nov. 25, with Marvin Kimble of Milwaukee, Wis./Salto Gymnastics Center, competing in the horizontal bar final on Nov. 26, at the 2017 Cottbus World Cup in Cottbus, Germany. The four-day competition is part of the International Gymnastics Federation’s World Cup series and features individual event competition. Fans can watch the finals live at OlympicChannel.com or through the Olympic Channel app.

On day two of the preliminary rounds, Kimble posted a 13.833, which put him fifth in the horizontal bar rankings. In the parallel bars qualifier, Bower just missed the final, placing ninth at 13.866, and Kimble was 14th (12.800).

The schedule for the two days of finals is listed below.

Individual event finals

  • Nov. 25 – men’s floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings; women’s vault, uneven bars, 2 p.m. Germany/8 a.m. ET
  • Nov. 26 – men’s vault, parallel bars, horizontal bar; women’s balance beam, floor exercise, 2 p.m. Germany/8 a.m. ET

Taqiy Abdullah-Simmons, assistant coach at the University of Oklahoma, is the coach for the event. No U.S. women are competing.
